Meet the NEPTEC founders

As the year 2020 brings promising goals and new possibilities, NEPTEC has finally introduced its brand to the lab water industry. Nico Ressmann and Sebastian Haese, founders of NEPTEC have been in the business for more than 10 years. Thus, their international network and industry’s experience can be well accounted for. Although many might still wonder what ignites the passion of these two experts for lab water and the reason behind starting their own company, here is a short interview to find out why.

Nico is a 33-year-old Senior Sales Manager who have worked with international dealers in more than 50 countries – delivering high quality lab water products. He also conducts sales training and presents in international fairs and exhibitions.

Q: What makes you excited in starting this new company?

A: Starting my own company has been a long-cherished dream since I did my business management studies. As someone who has always been highly competitive, I’d love to be part of an industry where I can develop this skill in a more practical, hands-on way. By using my knowledge, I aspire NEPTEC to be one of the leading companies in Lab Water industry. With innovative and high-quality products as well as a friendly and trustworthy company culture we want to make a difference together with our partners.

Q: From a global perspective, what can you offer to your customers and partners?

 A: First of all a complete product portfolio of reliable systems for producing pure and ultrapure water, I think that’s what we can offer for sure. Customer service with immediate response rate is our key for a long-term satisfaction of our partners.  The phrase “growing together” has always been our directive as we look at our dealers as our own partners. Therefore we do not leave them behind after purchasing and we support them all the way through a wide variety of trainings and info material.

Q: Do you have a New Year’s resolution?

A: This year, I want to read more books and take care of my garden. Additionally, I try to do one thing at a time. Multitasking doesn't make you more efficient.

Sebastian is a 36-year-old Senior Product Manager who has newly developed several lab water products. In his previous professional engagement, he has also been the production manager for a complete lab water series.

Q: What have been for NEPTEC the most important goals by creating a complete new lab water series?

A: For me there are three essential components, a lab water product should have been built through a robust system which can withstand different conditions, should have been made with highest possible quality and should have a lot of automatic features to make it intuitive and user-friendly.

Q: Can you give us a brief idea about the different technologies that are implemented in your NEPTEC products? 

A: We use different technologies like various particle filters and absorbers, reverse osmosis, ion exchange resin and Electrodeionisation (EDI) to name a few. This definitely guarantees the highest water quality. Honestly, there have not been so many changes in “new” technologies through the years but due to numerous testing and research, we optimised the existing technologies to maximise the water quality.
