In Greek mythology, PROTEUS is one of HALIOS's (halios gerôn) several deities who is able to change the quality of water. Keeping PROTEUS in mind, the adjective "protean" was also derived and is synonymous with versatility or the capability of assuming many forms. The word "protean" has some positive connotations and may also be associated to flexibility and adaptability. Therefore, the name fits perfectly to NEPTEC's new lab water system PROTEUS.
Our PROTEUS 40 is an all-in-one, modular-designed pure water system with a production rate of 40L/h. Each system meets and exceeds type 2 or 3 water directly from tap water. The internal 80L tank and the frequency-controlled booster pump make this system an ideal solution for supplying several consumers with pure water. In particular, we developed PROTEUS while considering the supply of washer disinfectors, sterilisers, ultrapure water systems and reliable production of demineralised water.
All components are built in a modern space-saving cabinet which fits perfectly under each laboratory bench. The system as a whole is also equipped with wheels for maximum flexibility. It can also be controlled by our modern and intuitive touch screen, known from our HALIOS series. The screen shows the conductivity, resistivity and temperature along other various information like for example flow rate, pressure, consumable change intervals and even a leakage.
Upgrade our PROTEUS with an external dispenser to control and dispense pure water directly on the bench. This upgrade comes with an integrated high-precision volume dispenser, sterile filter capsule and intuitive dispensing wheel.
PROTEUS is also available with an economic EDI module which delivers more consistent purity than single-bed ion-exchange systems. The EDI module also reduces the release of organic impurities. This guarantees reliable Type II water and helps to reduce your operating costs.
